Yello!

Today I found a really useful tool that will SKY ROCKET your productivity!🚀

I’m talking from experience btw, it made my life so much better!

‘Well, what is it then?’

Routine optimization. Sounds pretty hard right? You’ll be surprised! Scroll down and find out ;)

Reading time: 2:00 minutes

1 MINUTE CHALLENGE: Take a piece of papers(or any other place) and write down 3 things you did today, no matter what it is.

Your Weekly Challenge:

REMINDER: You don’t have to do the challenge! See it as an idea on how to spend your week more productively.

Understand your daily routine. At the end of each day(set a specific time to it) write down a list with some detail (should take ~10 minutes, don’t give more! time consuming!) what you’ve done today. Take Joe’s morning for example:

7:00\ Wake up

7:05\ put on clothes

7:05-7:30\ Hygiene + Breakfast

Your Weekly Inspirational Story:

“One by one I went through my list* and dissected, how I could eliminate, move or optimize the task to achieve my ideal Morning Routine as a Blogger working from home.

  • The apartment is messy from yesterday evening, so instead of starting work at 8 am, I am tidying for 15 min.

    • Tidy in the evening for 10 min before you go to bed! Your house is tidy when you wake up and you lose zero time. [
]

  • I press “snooze” three times because I am so exhausted from binge-watching Netflix yesterday.

    • Go to your room at 10 pm. Take your time to remove your makeup, read and be ready for lights out at 11:00 pm.

  • I make myself a fancy “Instagram-worthy” breakfast taking me 30 min.

    • Meal-Prep breakfast for the week on Sunday, so once you get hungry you can just go to the fridge and take out your Birchermuesli 😉

  •  Before I even take a shower or get out of bed, I check my phone for emails and social media

    • You know you will start work at exactly 08:00 am. This means you don’t have to worry about emails until then. Right now it’s time to relax and have time for yourself. “

*She made a list of daily acts she does in her routine that she doesn’t like

!!!- I advise you to write the answers down on paper, as they help you figure out stuff about yourself, which you might find useful later on!

Reflective-thinking question:

  • Can you think of any small thing you’re doing, which limits you from being productive?

  • Have you learnt anything from the story?

Critical-thinking questions:

  • Do you think her days weren’t productive only because of the small acts on her list? Or, is there more to it? If so, what is it?

Your Weekly ‘Food For Thought’ question
