I’m sorry, but today I’m not attaching any memes. It’s sort of becoming an addiction so I’ma take a break.

Enjoy reading 😁

Reading time🕰️: 2:10 minutes

1 MINUTE CHALLENGE: Write down 1 thing that’s going through your mind right now on paper, no matter how random it is.

Your Weekly Challenge:

REMINDER: You don’t have to do the challenge! See it as an idea on how to spend your week more productively.

Before starting this week, choose an activity you’d like to do daily that’ll get you clarity(i.e. meditation) in your mind, how much you’re going to do of it doesn’t matter. Each time you’re doing the activity, try to make it a little bit harder than before.

For example: Day 1-1 minute meditation, Day 2- 2 minute meditation etc.

Your Weekly Inspirational Story:

“It happens to us all.

Whenever I watch a random movie, play with makeup, organize my Pinterest, or mindlessly listen to a podcast, I have this annoying little voice saying,

‘This is unproductive. You're just wasting time.’

I need to stop criticizing myself for wanting a break based on whether I pushed myself hard enough.

I still need to prove something, but I cannot let it grow to an unhealthy extent.

Trust me, I'm working on it.

So it can be hard to enjoy your free time.

Sometimes, we have so much on our plates that we need to feel productive, or else we'll feel guilty.

Sometimes I wonder, "Shouldn't I be doing x, y, z instead of watching a random movie? I have so much to do!"

Then guilt hits me while I'm trying to take a break, and by the time I need to go back to work, I'm tired from feeling so guilty.

So, in the end, there was no break.

I spent too much time worrying about being productive that I didn't get to enjoy my free time.

All I did was worry, but I was also too tired to get more done. Now, I feel emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed.

It's not a fun feeling, I know. ‘Live in the moment.’ I'm trying to, but it's easier said than done.”

!!!- I advise you to write the answers down on paper, as they help you figure out stuff about yourself, which you might find useful later on!

-Can you relate to this story? Does the thought of “I have so much to do!” run often in your mind?

Critical-thinking question:

-Do you think that achieving mental clarity would’ve helped to solve the guilt of the writer? Why or why not?
