What is Bproductive?
Introduction to the newspaper
Hello there! Welcome, to the Bproductive newsletter! The paper that’s designed to make YOU be productive!
Have you been struggling with productivity lately? Procrastinating? Scrolling too much?

Maybe you just want to spend your time on better things. Whatever it is, you came to the right place.
We’re here to work hard. Period.
Forget the cheap guides or motivation. We’re offering something different.
Nowadays, there are so many people claiming they have ‘the way’ to success of any kind.
They’re trying to make you feel that you must think and act as they tell you to succeed. But are they right?
No. Your own set of skills is enough. Crazy right? Truth is, everybody has the potential for success.
Hard work is one of the most efficient ways to unlock this potential. It’s simple, it’s logical and it gives you results. That’s why we’re here. To work hard and be productive.
Wait, what do you mean by we?
The journey of growth can be very lonely sometimes. This newspaper will make sure you won’t feel like it anymore, by giving you a community of like-minded, hard-working people.

How, exactly, would you do that?
Through Shared Effort and Experiences (Or, in short, SEE).
SEE IS NOT TEAMWORK; it's a sub-category of it. It's a framework that encourages people to collaborate, support, and learn from each other to achieve shared goals.
While SEE Encourages collaboration, Teamwork Requires it. Take this for example-
Jimmy and John have a Biology project due in 1 week which they must do together. To finish it, they need to work as a team because the workload is too heavy for one student.
However, Olivia and Jane chose to do it alone, but they still help each other by giving tips and tricks to make the work easier. Sometimes, to stay more focused, they even study together, each working on their own project.
Do you notice the difference? It’s obvious, isn’t it?
SEE will allow you to achieve your goals in your own way without feeling obliged to meet the expectations of other people who share the same goal with you.
On top of that, you will still receive the same amount of support and encouragement from people as you'd expect while working with the team.
Here’s how it’s applied to the newspaper. SEE is built on two key elements:
Shared Thinking: Sharing thoughts and ideas to learn from each other and gain insights.
Hard work can be also applied to thinking. If you know what you’re facing and why you want to face it, you’ve already made it halfway.

We’re here to help you think better about how to improve and achieve higher productivity by learning from other people.
The basic idea is this- In each paper, you’ll receive an inspirational story.
Now this in itself can improve your thinking- you’re seeing how people have achieved what you thought was impossible!
But we’re gonna take this one step further. Instead of just reading the story, you’ll also get questions at the end about it.
Now don’t worry, it’s not a reading comprehension test or something like that, These questions will help you figure out how truly helpful this story is for you.
How? You’ll receive two types of questions:
Type A-Reflective thinking: Personal questions that will help you understand the insights you’ve gained from the story(e.g. “How can you use these insights to set new goals?”)
Type B-Critical thinking: Questions that will encourage you to judge the usefulness and legitimacy of the stories to you(e.g. “Why do you think the story is good? Can you specify?”)
Using these two types of questions, you’ll learn to understand the story much better, and maybe even apply the lessons learned from it to your own life!
Critical thinking is often neglected in the self-improvement market, some people don’t want you to know that their advice is not as good as you think.

I(the writer) recommend you keep a journal or whatever for these answers so that you can have a place to see everything you’ve learned from each story.
*You can also write an inspirational story! Just send it to us in the email, and you might have a chance to appear in the newspaper next time!
Shared work: Work towards a shared goal, each in their own way, with other people supporting you along the way.
One of the hardest parts of working hard is understanding how and where to start.
You'll be working hard here, but you won't be alone. To do so, you’ll get weekly challenges(and also ones that you can do immediately), designed to get you to work hard.
The purpose of these challenges is to give you a starting point. Going for a big project like getting fit can be VERY overwhelming sometimes.
But usually, by just taking the first step, you’ll find that you are also very able to take the next ones also!
Now if you decide to go for the weekly challenge, congrats! You’ve got somewhere to start! All that is left for you is to go forward from that point.

Don’t worry if you don’t, because just reading it, is still going to give you an idea of how you can start working hard for your goals. It’s a win-win situation for you!
Now we’re gonna take this a step further, by getting SEE into the mix. How?
Alongside the weekly challenges, you’ll be receiving tips and tricks from those who've already successfully managed them.*
From these tips, you'll learn what to avoid when doing the challenge, which will make you approach it more efficiently. Make sure you understand them well!
In addition to that, if you manage to complete the challenge, you can tell your story of what you achieved and send it to this email.
In the next paper, you might have a chance of getting an appraisal that shows your story with some words of encouragement.
Getting encouragement and support from others through tips and tricks and also appraisal, which both are parts of SEE, can give you the support you need to get going.
Sometimes it’s hard to do this alone, but we can make it better.
*You guys can provide tips and tricks for previously done challenges by sending them to this email(Most challenges will appear more than once in the newspaper, so your advice will be appreciated)!
In addition to these two elements, you will receive the following in each weekly newspaper:
Weekly inspiration- Each week you will receive an inspirational quote that will encourage you to work hard.
Tips for productive tools- Productive apps can be confusing sometimes, let’s make it easier for you, and give you ways to make your workflow better with apps like Notion, Evernote, Todoist, and more!
Weekly ‘food for thought’ question- A weekly question, specifically made to challenge your perceived limits and beliefs!
